Arif Ansari’s lone strike helped Young Boys ‘B’ carve out a close 1-0 win against FC Mumbaikar in a Third Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2015-2016 and played at St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Thursday.
In another match of the same division, Los Galaticos proved too strong, defeating Karnatak Sporting Association Under-17 side by a convincing 4-0 margin. Oomen Barot hammered home two goals while Siddharth Suvarna and Stefan Mascarenhas netted one each to complete the winning tally.
