“A film like ‘Yeh Hai India’ needed music which evokes a feeling of patriotism among the people of the country, which I feel we’ve succeeded at creating. Our country has produced such great patriotic songs over the years, which gives us goosebumps every time we hear them. And my intention with ‘Yeh Hai India’ album was to create an album which will similarly be remembered for years.

And I fully believe that we have succeeded in creating such an album, which will urge especially the youth to do something for the country. And not just patriotic, we’ve ensured that it is soulful and melodious at the same time,” says Lom in an interview.

The music of the film has been composed by Tapesh. Singer Javed Ali has crooned ‘Piya Bin Main Kya Kuch bhi Nahi’ while Shahid Mallya has rendered the title track of the film. The story of the film traces the journey of an NRI who comes to India from UK and sees immense difference is what is generally thought about India and what he actually experiences.

Lom says, “I’m grateful to such talented singers such as Javed Ali and Shahid Mallya who have lent their voice and taken the album on a different level. Composing music for such an album which captures the various emotions of the protagonist was not easy but we have created an album which would definitely touch the hearts of the audience,” Lom adds.

The film stars Gavie Chahal, Deana Uppal, Mohan Agashe, Mohan Joshi, Antara Banerjee among others and is produced Sandeep Choudhary under the banner of DLB Films Pvt. Ltd.
