Yashasvi bags six wickets; Gautam hits 121


 

Yashasvi Jaiswal, a lanky rightarm leg spinner, who has been going great guns, both with bat and ball this season, did a star turn by capturing six for 43  as defending champions Rizvi Springfield  outplayed Oxford (Public) by eight wickets to enter  the semifinals of the B.Khichadia-Khar Gymkhana Suburban schools cricket tournament played at Khar Gymkhana  here.

Rizvi next take on Yashodhan (Goregaon), who had thrashed Vibgyor (Goregaon),  by 212 runs in the quarterfinals. The other semifinals which was played today between Swami Vivekanand (Borivali) and their sister school at Kandivali resulted in the Borivali boys winning by 65 runs. The highlight of their win was the century by Gautam Wzaghela, who made 121.
