Yash Ramchandani’s aggressive 137 off 117 balls was the feature in defending champions MCC (Black)’s 73-run win over hosts JSF (Jwala Sports Foundation) on the opening day of the MCC Pro-40 League played at Oval Maidan here.

Put into bat, MCC (Black), hit up 263 for six off the3 allotted 40 overs with Yash hammering 137 with 18 fours. Rohan Karande played a good supporting role with 55 with 8 fours and a six. However, in reply, JSF were restricted to 190 for nine as medium pacer Subrato Das bagged four wickets.

In the other tie played on adjacent plot, MCC (Yellow) thrashed MCC (Green) by 105 runs. Pratik Chavan (104) was the star in (Yellow)’s win.
