Yadav shines again for Mumbai CC


Opener Sachin Yadav continued his impressive form with the bat as he notched up 56 to help Mumbai CC (India)  to record their third  successive win over Colombo District Ca (Sri Lanaka) by 56 runs  in the 5th  Tun Ahmad Sarji Cup Cricket League- Tournament  In Kuala Lumpur, here today. Earlier, Sachin had hit up an  unbeaten knock of 98 against hosts Malaysiyan Malayas for their second win by inflicting an 8-wicket defeat.

Mumbai CC (India) batsmen were pretty  impressive with opener Sachin  Yadav (56), skipper Vinayak Samant (40)  and Sashi Kadam (46)  playing  a major role as they made 217 before they were all out in46.1 overs. . In reply, Sri Lanka’s Colombo District CA were dismissed for 160 with Yeshan Wickkamarachchi  top scoring with 65 Spinners ; Vedant Patil (4/35) and  Aniket Redkar (2/22) shared the bowling honours.
