Mr. Vivek Kohli whose Stag brand has travelled all over the world, has done a lot of promotion for the game of Table Tennis in India. He has done a commendable service to uplift of the game and players in India by way of sponsorship.
Now, Vivek is the newly elected Chairman of Commonwealth Table Tennis Federation ( CTTF), which is a good news for India. Mr. Vivek was elected as Chairman during the recently concluded 21st Commonwealth Table tennis Championship held in Cuttack, India. He defeated the former Chairman Alan Ransom in the elections.
Soon after his election, Vivek Kohli addressed the media persons and revealed his plans to expand the CTTF activities, soon after taking the charge. Mr. Kohli said that the CTTF should look forward to organise the Commonwealth Youth Table tennis Championships together with the Veterans and cadet Championship, besides events of substance at the regional level in different continents. He also felt that prize money be introduced into Commonwealth Championships, to attract more and more countries into this competition.
