MDFA Div-2 football
Vision Rescue SC managed to overcome Miners SC 5-4 in a high-scoring and exciting Second Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. For Vision Rescue striker Surya Naiker struck a brace off goals while Roman Luis, Atish Nade and Austin D’Souza all scored one each to seal their win. Miners fought well and managed to score Tejas Ghule who scored two and one each from Joseph D’Cruz and Rahul Sawant.
In another match, Anushakti Nagar SA blanked Bharat FC 3-0 with Shubham Pandit, Aniket Kamble and Nilesh Sonawane,, all striking one goal apiece to round off the winning tally.
