Valencia D’Mello impressed with her excellent scoring touch and slammed home four goals in leading Mumbai Knights FC to a comfortable 9-0 win against Lawless United in the Maharashtra state women’s football league match played at the Cooperage football ground.

The champions will qualify for the AIFF Indian Women’s Football League.
Mumbai Knights got the remaining goals through Velanie Fernandes who converted a penalty for the opening goal, Priyanka, Abeer Arsiwala, and Mmehak Lobo contributed with one each and one was courtesy an own-goal scored by Shreya Yadav.
In another high-scoring encounter, Sasmita Behera and Bhagyashree Dalvi, both scored two goals each to power PIFA Sports (Colaba) FC to a facile 8-0 win against FSI Navi Mumbai. Dolly Kumari, Trupti Deep, Karen Pais, and Iawanlang Nongbet, all chipped in with a goal apiece to complete the winning tally.
