Union Bank of India and Mumbai Customs won their respective Elite Division matches of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2015-2016, and played at the Cooperage ground.
Union Bank did well to overcome Central Bank of India 2-1 with Pratik Koli scoring both their goals. Andrew Bothelo pulled one back for Central Bank.
Customs tamed Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers 3-1 with Ashraf Ali, Deepak Irmali and Rinaldo’s late goal seal their win. RCF got the consolation goal through Arvind Kanojia’s efforts.
The next Elite Division match will be played between Air India and Kenkre FC, on Monday, February 1 at 2.00pm.

Mumbai Customs 3 (Ashraf Ali 5th, Deepak Irmali 45th, Rinaldo Fernandes 90+3rd) beat RCF 1 (Arvind Kanojia 90+2nd).
Super Div: Sunday Boys 3 (Aston, Kishen V. Pratesh S) drew with Sellebrity SC 3 (Merwyn Fernandes, Stanley, Christian).
Div-I: Carmelites SC 2 (Rahil Khan, Arif Queshi) beat St. Paul’s SC 0.
Bad Boys 2 (Cajetan Dias, Abhishek Rathod) beat Vidya Vikasini Theresians 1 (D. Nair).
