The Pro Kabaddi League caravan, which began its journey in Chennai and moved to Pune, Patna and then Noida is all set to roll into Mumbai, the home of U Mumba. Mirroring the excellent performance of the team so far, a glittering arena awaits the visiting teams and a grand spectacle is in store for the kabaddi fans.
The Mumbai leg of the PKL will be held at the Dome@NSCI, as the promoters of the team have spared no effort to put on a grand show. To benefit the scores of U Mumba fans, who will be waiting for a first glimpse of their stars live in action, the tickets have been priced most economically, starting at Rs. 350 for Section 3, Rs 499 for Section 2 and onwards. This, in spite of the promoters being compelled to pay the steep entertainment charges for the venue.
“The home leg for U Mumba is about to begin and we’re all excited about it. And what better time to enthral the fans than Diwali. We’ve even made the tickets more affordable to bring in more audiences. The Dome@NSCI is a great but expensive venue. We wanted more fans to enjoy the sport in all its glory and will spare no expense for the venue to host all home matches at the Dome, NSCI.” said Supratik Sen, CEO and Co-Founder U Sports. He adds “We firmly believe that our sports persons deserve the best possible sports infrastructure at any cost.”
U Mumba, who have had a wonderful beginning to their campaign in the 6th edition, losing just one match in all their away outings, and are in second position overall, will begin their home campaign against Jaipur Pink Panthers on Friday, November 9.
This will be followed by five more matches on the trot, which will test to the hilt the overall composition and strength of the team.
