TT legend Vilas Menon is no more. But, every year on his birth anniversary, his well wishers and close friends remember him. Such was his personal relationship with every one who came in his life. Vilas played Table Tennis at national and international level during 70s and 80s. Besides winning many prizes, he was awarded fairply trophy during the World TT Championship held in Kolkatta in 1975.

On his birth anniversary today, his wife Renu who is unwell is missing him. His close family friend Ramnath Sharma from Mumbai, described him as the most stylish player in the country and called him a perfect getleman. “Vilas will always remain in my hearts,” he said, while speaking to magzmumbai.
