Top seeds Nigel D’Sa of Mumbai Customs and Riya Arolkar of CCI are the firm favourites to win the men’s and women’s singles titles respectively in the CCI-Greater Mumbai District Badminton Championship 2018, jointly organized by the Cricket Club of India (CCI) and the Greater Mumbai Badminton Association (GBMA) and starting at the CCI courts, from Sunday, June 10 to Saturday, June 16, 2018. The first round matches will commence on Sunday from 4.00pm.

Viplav Kuvale of ESIC and Kareena Madan also from CCI are the second seeds in the men’s and women’s events.
Kuvale and Firoz Mulani are the top seeds in the men’s doubles event while the second seeds are D’Sa and Mangirish Palekar. In the women’s doubles, the top seeds are Akshaya Warang and Anagha Karandikar while Karina Madan and Riya Arolkar are seeded second.
