The Sports Gurukul (TSG), a sporting organization that strives to promote and develop various sports at the grassroots level, has launched a football training school – ‘TSG Football School’, in Mumbai on Friday.

Through this new initiative TSG is determined to provide every child with an opportunity and platform to choose football as a part of their holistic overall development. The TSG Football School will conduct their training programs and clinics at the newly laid world-class facilities at the All India Balkanji Bari ground, Santa Cruz (West).
TSG aims on bringing together all facets of football at the grassroots level, with an aim to not only build on football principles — both intrinsic and extrinsic — but also adopt these principles as a way of life.
Jay Shah, co-founder of The Sports Gurukul, said on the occasion, “We are seeing a great response to football and that has prompted us to only create better football opportunities in the form of a professional outfit — the TSG Football School. TSG objective is of not only catering to passionate footballers across Mumbai but also taking the same across India in the coming years. With certified coaches and involvement of international coaches in the program, the TSG Football School will have plenty to offer for the kids.”
Paresh Kothari, co-founder of The Sports Gurukul, mentioned. “These are exciting times, and with a football crazy son in the family, I have first-hand experience on how football is catching up in the city. I feel we will now be able to cater to a lot of young football aspirants in Mumbai, and with the new FIFA-approved international turf, the playing experience will only be of an international level for all of these children.”
