The match finished in a 1-all draw with Bradley Tellis finding the net for Millwall early in the first half before Leander Dharmai struck Chimbai’s equaliser just minutes from the half-time whistle.

In the second half, both sides tried to create clear goal-scoring chances but their efforts went in vain and the penalty shootout was resorted to settle the outcome of the match. In the crucial tie-breaker, both sides seemed nervous as only Scott Tellis and Sumin Raveendran could convert for Millwall.

Scott Tellis standing in the Millwall goal made four fantastic saves to deny Chimbai strikers Floyd Dharmai, Joshua Vessaokar, Leander Dharmai and Calvin Fernandes from scoring from the ‘spot’ and ensure his team emerged champions.
Chief Guest, Baba Siddique (Ex MLA & main supporter of the BWFA League), presented the glittering Champions Trophy and the cash award of Rs 30,000 to the Millwall team and the Runners-up Trophy and cash prize of Rs 20,000 to the Chimbai side.

Earlier, AK Chimbai scored once in each half through Subodh Khandagle and Clyde Koli to defeat Bandra Packers 2-0 to win the 3rd place Hardlines trophy and a cash award of Rs15,000.
