Sumeet FA enjoyed a very successful outing as they defeated Freunds FC 4-0 in a Third Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2019-2020 and played at the St. Xaviers ground, Parel. Striker Soham Mahadik led Sumeet FA’s charge with two goals while Ganesh Shahu and Shubham Pednekar netted one each to complete the win.
Meanwhile, Young Guns blanked Soccer A-Z winning by a 2-0 margin in a First Division match, played at the Naville D’Souza ground, Bandra. . Strikers Shailesh Lakhani and Owais Khatib were bang on target with a goal each to seal Young Guns win.
