Star of Canara SC struck great form and blanked Karnata Amateurs SC 3-0 in a league match of the 23rd Shri Late Ramanath Payyade Memorial Football Tournament 2018-2019 and played at Karnatak Sports Centre, Cross Maidan.
Karnataka Amateurs put up a brave fight and denied Star of Canara from scoring during the first period. But after the break Star of Canara produced a strong performance and scored thrice to ran away with the match.
The highlight of Star of Canara’s win was striker Aston Dias who scored a brace of goals while Nehal Shetty scored the third goal to complete the winning tally.
