St. Stanislaus ‘B’, Bandra came up with a determined performance and combined with some clinical strikes did well to defeat St. Paul’s ‘A’, Dadar in the final to clinch the top honours in the St Peter’s Youth Centre organised Inter-School boys’ under-12 (5-a-side) football tournament supported by Mumbai City FC and played at the St. Stanislaus High School grounds, Bandra.

The final witnessed an intriguing contested as both teams tried to wrest the upper hand and there was quite a number of attempts at either goal, but both the goalkeepers, Atharva Rewale of St. Paul’s and Joshua Miranda of Stanislaus made some fine saves.
However, towards the end of the first half, St. Stanislaus managed to break the deadlock, when Shayne D’Costa created an opening for Jaffer Mansoori who coolly controlled the ball before unleashing a measured chip past the outstretched hands of St. Paul’s goalkeeper Atharva to bring the home supporters on their feet.
After the change of ends, Ethan with a long range effort scored the second goal and ensured the win for the Bandra schoolboys.
Earlier, Leron Miranda scored all the three goals as St. Anne’s, Orlem blanked St. Stanislaus ‘A’ 3-0 in the third place match.
