St Joseph’s (Orlem, Malad) defeated St. Francis D’Assissi (Borivali) 4-2 via tie-breaker after both were locked 1-1 at the regulation time in the under-16 Suburban Inter-School Football Tournament conducted by Poinsur Gymkhana under their “Uttar Mumbai Krida Mahotsav – 2018 held here today.

However, St. Francis boys had the consolation of bagging the under-14 title as they downed Goregaon’s Lakshadham 2-1 after both were locked 1-1 at the breather. It was Keegan D’Souza, who gave them the lead, while Shaun D’Costa scored the winner midway in the second half.
