Sporko CFCI played well and scored a goal in each half to register a 2-0 win against a determined Ravens FC in a Women’s Super Division match of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2022-2023 and played at the Neville D’Souza Ground, Bandra on Monday morning.

The Sporko CFCI outfit took the lead through Angelina Sequeira’s strike in the 28th minute and went into the break with a slender 1-0 advantage. In the second half, Shravani Nigade showed good finishing touch to score the second goal in the 55th minute and seal Sporko CFCI’s win.
Later in the day, Kamaljeet Kaur struck a brace of goals in leading India Rush to a fluent 4-0 win against Ravens FC. Kamaljeet’s teammates Priyanka Valles and Komal Kamble got the other two goals to complete India Rush winning margin.
Earlier in the morning, Rudra FA and Somaiya SA shared honours as they played out a 1-1 draw. Rudra FA scored through Sanika Patil, while Somaiya SA striker Dnyaneshwari Kokane got their goal.
