The Shivaji Park Gymkhana (SPG), a 110 years sports organization which supports and encourages youngsters to play games like lawn tennis, cricket, table tennis, billiards and others sports will be conducting the Late P.S. Khanolkar Memorial SPG Tennis Tournament, exclusively for tennis markers and assistant coaches, at the at Shivaji park Gymkhana courts on Sunday, May 27.
This tournament is being organized in loving memory of former PSG tennis player P.S. alias Dada Khanolkar, who was also instrumental in organizing tennis events at the gymkhana.
The main purpose of organizing this tournament is to encourage tennis markers and assistant coaches and provide them an opportunity to compete with each other. The organisers will conduct only one doubles event. The finalists will receive cash awards and trophies and the top eight winning pairs will also get cash prizes.
