Solanki, Singh net hat-tricks in KSA’s massive 9-0 win


Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) were in striking form and stormed to a thumping 9-0 win against India Rush Soccer Club in an Elite Division (Private) match of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2022-2023 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Thursday.

The highlight of Karnatak’s emphatic win was the double hat-tricks scored by Pragnesh Solanki and impressive striker Sanchit Singh. The remaining three goals came through the efforts of Mohammed Zaid, Asadul Khan and Pratham Ghatnur, all contributing one each to round off the winning margin.

Earlier in another Elite Div encounter, The Oranje FC was in prime form and handed G.M. Sports Club a 5-2 defeat. Striker Yogesh Kadam and prolific scorer Rinaldo Fernandes, both played the key roles by a scoring a brace of goals each to steer The Orange to victory, while Aimar Adam completed the winning tally by striking one of the goals. G.M Sports Club managed to score two goals through the hard-working Sudhakar Ranjan’s efforts.

Earlier, Ex-Servicemen SESF fought well to get the better of Bombay Gymkhana Colts by a narrow 2-1 margin. Russell Correia and Floyd Fernandes were on target with a goal each for the Servicemen, while Bombay Gymkhana Colts pulled one back through Sohrab Mehta.

Kopana FC 4 (Roshan Mangela 2, Anil Mangela, Rohan Giri) beat Miners FC 2 (Divesh Koli, Khush Gohil).

Elite Div: The Oranje FC 5 (Yogesh Kadam 2, Rinaldo Fernandes 2, Aimar Adam) beat GM Sports Club 2 (Sudhakar Ranjan 2).
