Magzmumbai contributor Dilip Thakur has been conferred with the excellence in Journalism award, by Sanskruti Kala Darpan (SKD) an organisation, which has been felicitating artistes and people connected with Marathi films and stage, for the past 15 years.

Dilip Thakur has been active with his Film Journalism for the past 31 years. He has also written many books on Bollywood and Marathi films, including one on Amitabh Bachchan titled ‘ A.., Amitabh cha’. At present, he contributes to various publications, including Magzmumbai, as a freelance Journalist.
