In a nail-biting finish Shivaji Park Superstars defeated Mulund Blasters by three runs from pool B tie of the 8-team SAI-Mumbai Masters T-20 League, powered by Paradigm Reality, at the Police Gymkhana’s floodlit ground here last night.

Chasing Shivaji Park’s score of 170 for nine, Mulund Blasters appeared to be on course when their openers Amey Adkar (46) and Ankit Jain (49) put on 99 runs in just seven overs, but Amey departed at 99 and that triggered a collapse as batsman after batsman came and went with four of them being run out. Their tail, however, did try when in the last over they needed 15 runs, but loss of another wicket sealed their fate.
