Ajit Shinde’s lone 16th minute strike enabled Xavier’s Boys eke out a close 1-0 win against Tata Power in a Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Tuesday evening.
In another match of the same division, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Classic SC were engaged in a 2-2 draw. Manish Solanki and Praful Waghela were on target for BMC while Tariq Shaikh netted both the goals for Classic SC.
