Powered by Sheldon D’Souza’s twin strikes Nester Boys romped to a thumping 3-0 win against Inspiring Humanity in a Boy’s Under-16 match of the 16th Kalina Football League, organised by the Our Lady of Egypt Parish Church Sports Committee, and played at the Our Lady of Egypt Church ground, Kalina. Completing the winning tally was Divesh Rajput who struck the third goal.
Meanwhile in a closely fought encounter, Air India Colony managed to eke out a narrow 2-1 win against a dogged Farm House Sports Club and garner the full three points.
The Air India lads were well-served by strikers Amit Kumar and Maharishi Pareek, both hitting the target once each, while Farm House reduced the deficit through Nigel Rodrigues.
