Jamnabai Narsee’s Shaurya Pednekar has been given the pride of place in the boys under-16 singles event of the All-India Balkan-Ji-Bari Dilip Sampat Memorial Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament, which gets underway at Balkan-Ji-Bari centre at Juhu Road from tomorrow (February 12).The corresponding seedings in the girls singles goes to Tanvita Thakur of Ryan International.

Apart from the open events, which has attracted 150 participants, there are 19 school teams in fray for the team championships.
