Bandra Gym football report
Sellebrity FC and Catalans SC scored narrow wins in their respective Men’s Open second round matches of the Bandra Gymkhana Annual Floodlit Rink Football Tournament 2019, organized under the auspices of the MDFA and played under floodlights at the DPRC grounds, Bandra.
Chanpreet Singh struck the lone goal as Sellebrity defeated Juhu Akers by a solitary 1-0 margin, while a determined Catalans got the better of Annemators SC by a close 2-1 margin. Reeve Pinto and Shawn Menezes were bang on target scoring a goal each for the Catalans outfit while Abhishek Batishte netted the lone goal for the losers.
Meanwhile, Autonomous SC struck good form and romped to a 3-0 win against Baze FC in another Men’s Open encounter. Akshay Chavan, Lynyon D’Souza and Raphael Dias, all scored a goal each to complete Autonomous victory.
