The Selection trials for the forthcoming Five-team Mitsui Shoji T-20 league- Season 7 , will be held at Oval Maidan (plot No.8) from 1.30 p.m. onwards on Tuesday, April 25. Those who are 17 and above can participate in these trials. The selected players who will thus be playing for one of the five teams ( Bandra Heroes, Thane Marathas, Shivaji Park Warriors, Ghatkopar Jets and Mumbai Police City Riders). The organisers , Jwala Sports Foundation, will be inviting some of the first class players from big metros like Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad in addition to Mumbai , who too will be playing for one of the five teams in this league to be played on double leg basis with one team finishing at the bottom gets eliminated. The total prize money would be around Rs 2 Lakhs. Each team will have one first class (like Ranji trophy or A division player) along with none-first class players plus the selected juniors, who thus will get an opportunity of playing in the company of the seasoned seniors.
