Seasoned Shah gets past Shinde


 

Seasoned cueist Chandresh Shah (-150) of JVPG put to good advantage his vast experience and managed to overcome Mithil D. Shinde (-40) of Thane by a 200-165 points in a second round (race to 200 points) match of the Chembur Gymkhana Handicap Billiards Tournament 2018, and played at the Chembur Gymkhana billiards hall.

 

Vishal Gehani (-165) of Park Club struck good form and with the help of some decent breaks of 45, 44 and 37 comfortably got the better of Pradeep Singh (-80) by a massive 200-85 points difference.

 

In another match, Ankit Thakkar (-100) shut the door on fancied Hasan Badami (-180) by snatching a close 200-182 victory. Thakkar compiled breaks of 58, 45 and 35 to complete the win, while Badami best efforts were runs of 45, 44 and 35.

 

In other closely fought matches, Rovin D’Souza (-180) with a tidy break of 49 prevailed over Rajesh Mayavanshi (-110) 200-183, while Carl Serrao (-190) tamed Sumher Mago (-80) 200-155.
