Sean Gonsalves scored the all-important winner in leading Bandra Packers to a 1-0 win against Carmelites Crusaders in a Boys’ Under-14 match of the 15th Bandra West Football League 2016, sponsored by Baba Siddique & Jeeshan Siddique and conducted by the BWFA (Bandra West Football Association) and played at the Dr. Norman Lewis Supari Talao, Municipal grounds.
In another match, Sea View SC riding on Jamaal Ashrah’s lone strike got the better of Olpers FC by an identical 1-0 margin.
Meanwhile, in a First Division encounter, Baze FC proved too strong for Blitz FC as they romped to a facile 5-0 win with Dexter Vessaoker, Elroy Cardoza. Karan D’Silva, Shuell Buggri and Jordan Pesso all scoring a goal each to seal the win.
