Prolific goal-scorer Scott D’Souza did the star turn scoring both the goals as Union Bank of India in a hard-fought Elite Division encounter of the MDFA Leagues 2017-2018, played at the Mumbai Football Arena (Andheri Sports Complex on Thursday evening.
In a absorbing contest the first session finished goalless. But after the break Union Bank created the better chances and the enterprising striker D’Souza did well to find the back of the net in the 60th minute to break the deadlock.
Union Bank continued to search for goals and D’Souza came up with another strike to double their lead in the 80th minute and secure their win and the full three points.
