Sanjay Naik’s election manifesto released by Mr. Ashish Shelar


The manifesto of Sanjay Naik, a nominee for the post of President of Mumbai Cricket Association, was released in presence of Mr. Ashish Shelar during a get together organised at the Garware Club House on Monday evening by the Ashish Shelar Group.  

Former Indian cricketers Kenia Jayantilal, Abey  Kuruvilla and Jatin Paranjpe are seen honouring Ashish Shelar by presenting him with a memento during the get-together organised by the Ashish Shelar Group to release the manifesto of Sanjay Naik, a nominee for the post of President of Mumbai Cricket Association, at the Garware Club House on Monday evening. On this occasion, Former Indian cricketers Kenia Jayantilal, Abey  Kuruvilla and Jatin Paranjpe honoured Mr. Ashish Shelar bty presenting him with a memento.

SANJAY NAIK ELECTION MANIFESTO

A. Plan to make A/C enclosure for MCA Club secretaries/Offices Clubs & Colleges and the players from where they can watch the matches played at the Wankhede Stadium.

B. To double the gratis (pension) payments to former Ranji Trophy players who have represented MCA before 2003.

C. The two foot over bridges over the railway tracks leading to the Wankhede Stadium will be named after former Mumbai players.

D. The Late Sir Ajit Wadekar will be honoured for his services to cricket by implementing the decision of the AGM.

E. Renewal of pending lease agreement for Azad Maidan, Cross Maidan & Oval Maidan on Priority.

F. We will have a gala dinner for Club representatives with the Ranji Trophy winners.

G. Plan to arrange practice sessions of Mumbai star players at different centres across MCA jurisdiction and disburse MCA merchandise to the Cricket enthusiasts. 

H. The players who are not playing at the international level and are not having contracts with the IPL teams will be paid monthly emoluments by having contracts with them.

I. Will explore the possibility of introducing a cricket quiz for Club secretaries and the players.

J. Parallel to Ranji Trophy, MCA League will be started. The players to participate in the MCA League will be selected by the senior selection committee and the players will be paid match fees for each match played.

K. A new lease of life will be given to the Mumbai T20 Premier League.
