Karnataka Sports Club struck good form and scored a goal in each half to blank Mogaveera Sports Club in an exciting semi-final match of the Karnatak Sporting Association organised 12th Late Adv. A.R. Kudrolli Memorial knockout football tournament 2018 and played at the KSA ground, Cross Maidan.

Mogaveera put up a dogged display and did well to keep the Karnataka attackers in check for the initial period of the opening session. But towards the end of the first half, Karnataka’s Roger Sam broke Mogaveer’s resistance when from a snap effort he found the net to give his team a 1-0 half-time lead.
The Karnataka outfit continued in the same attacking vein on resumption and doubled the lead when enterprising forward Amey Bhatkal showed excellent finishing touch to score the second goal and secure the team’s passage to the final.
Karnataka SC will take on Star of Canara in the summit clash on Saturday, November 17.
