Sagar Mitra Mandal worked hard to put it across Chemburites SC by a close 2-1 margin in a Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Saturday evening.
Strikers Abhishek Patil and Kiran Kumar struck a goal each to help Sagar snatch a win and collect the full three points. Harsheel Ramraje netted the lone goal for the Chembur outfit.
In another match of the same division, I.C. United and Xavier’s Boys wer engaged in a goalless draw.
