Rohit Ghadi from Savio Sports Club and Pratyangira Kashyap , of Track Masters recorded a sprint double each by winning the 100m and 200m gold in their respective boys and girls under-16 events in the Mumbai Suburban Annual Athletic Championships, held at Sports Authority of India Sports Complex, at Kandivali today.

Incidentally, both Rohit and Pratyangira had outclassed their respective rivals with ease to win gold in their 100m events yesterday. And today, they went on to add gold in their 200m events as well. Apart from the sprint doubles by these two athletes, there were equally noteworthy performances in the boys and girls under-20 events as well. Aishwarya Mishra of Abhudnaya Sports Academy, eased past her rivals to came out triumphant in the 200 m runs; and Isabelle Lobo, from Prabodhan Kreeda Bhavan, eclipsed her rivals with ease to pocket double gold, by winning the both the 200 and 400m events.
