Thanks to youthful trio of Rohit Halder, Budha Aditya and Debash Sanyal, P3 Sports Table Tennis Academy continue their unbeaten run in the Division II of the annual MSDTTA (Mumbai Suburban District Table Tennis Association) Inter-club table tennis league, played on home and away basis. Having beaten Andheri Sports club (3-0), Chembur Gymkhana (3-1), they defeated Kandivali Recreation Club, one of the strong teams in the fray, 3-1 and repeated their superiority by outplaying them again in their return tie by identical margin. The P3 Sports Academy’s other team, coached by ex-junior international Moon Moon Ghosh, now a coach, earlier had outplayed YMCA (Ghatkopar) 3-0 in the Division III also.

Last year’s Division III champions Achievers TT Academy , however, were ,beaten by Chhatrapati Shivaji Samarak Sangh (CSMSS) 3-2 and 3-0 in their home and away Division II ties. But their junior strings opened their campaign on winning note when they defeated New Community (3-1, 3-0), Ghatkopar Jolly Gymkhana (3-0) and Genesis TT Academy (3-0). Even in this division, they were given a fright by CSMSS before they prevailed 3-1.
