Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Rizvi Springfield batsmen barring opener Sagar Chhabria , were quite disappointing. Sagar was distinctly unlucky to miss century by six runs. he was sixth out with the total 182 . His 94 contained 12 fours. In fact, Sagar and Harsh Tripathi after the loss of three quick wickets put on 65 runs for the fourth wicket before Harsh fell for well made 35. However, the rest of the batsmen faltered to provide Sagar adequate support as they ended up with 213 for 8 off 40 overs.

Chasing 214 to win, Swami Vivekanand outfit never looked like making a match of it as they lost the top half for just 78 runs in 25 overs. Surprisingly, none of their batsmen, but for Yash Mayekar (who showed some aggression), could force the pace against the Rizvi spinners Nabil Aziz,Harsh Tripathi and Shriyansh Mandlikwho maintained a tight length helped by some smart and sharp fielding in the outfield.

Individual prizewinners: …Best batsman – Gautam Waghela. Best bowler – Suved Parkar .(Swami Vivekanand).
