A record number of 475 leading senior and junior shuttlers from Mumbai District have confirmed their participation in the CCI-Greater Mumbai District Badminton Championship 2018, jointly organized by the Cricket Club of India (CCI) and the Greater Mumbai Badminton Association (GBMA) and to be played at the CCI courts, starting from Sunday, June 10 to Saturday, June 16, 2018.
The tournament, which was scheduled to commence from June 11 has forced the organizers to pre-pone the event due to the massive number of entries. The first rounds will commence from June 10 at 4.00pm.
The 7-day tournament will consist of 19 events for men, women, boys and girls (different age categories) in singles, doubles and a mixed doubles event for seniors.
