A buoyant Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) continued with their fine run of winning form as they handed Bombay Republicans a 5-1 defeat in a Senior Division match of the MHAL (Mumbai Hockey Association Limited) League – 2015 and played at the MHAL Stadium, Churchgate on Wedneday.
After Ashish Chetty scored the opening goal for RCF, his teammates Mayur Patil and Rajendra Pawar, both struck two goals apiece to clinch the win, while Republicans managed to reduce the deficit through Mohit Kathoute’s late strike.
