Top seeded Ranjit Singh overcame some jitters before he rallied to upset the applecart of Aishawary Singh 3-2 to make the men’s penultimate round of the 7th JSW-All India Sunil Verma Memorial Squash Championship held in the JSW Squash Academy, at Vasind (Thane) today. Ranjit was rather too tentative initially and allowed his rival to call the shots, who jumped to 2-1 lead. However, at this stage Ranjit changed into a bit of aggressive mode to surge ahead and grab the tie 3-11, 11-8, 5-11, 12-10, 11-7.
