Kalina Football
Junior Rangers proved too good for Inspiring Humanity and powered their way to a convincing 6-0 win in a Boy’s Under-16 league match of the 16th Kalina Football League, organised by the Our Lady of Egypt Parish Church Sports Committee, and played at the Our Lady of Egypt Church ground, Kalina.
Showing good understanding and combining nicely as a team, Rangers scored at regular intervals through Aaron Lobo, Aaron D’Sa, Hrishikesh Bhat, Tilak Shetty, Lalit Bangera and Siddharth Shukla, all chipping in with a goal each.
In another closely contested encounter, Kalina Village Boys got the better of Nester Boys by a solitary 1-0 margin. Laban Pereira netted the crucial winner for the Village Boys.
