Venkateswaran ( Popularly known as Raja) of Maharashtra caused a stunning upset when he defeated fancied B. Bhaskar of Karnataka in Super League match of the G. Raman Nair All India Invitation Tournament being played at ECA Club in Bengaluru.

Subramaniam, fondly called ‘Raja’ amongst the cue sports fraternity showed great touch and superb consistent form to stun the World No.2, Bhaskar who was not given any chance to get back into the match. Raja constructed breaks of 128 and 121 and charged to a fluent 250-0 victory.
