Oranje FC eked out a tight 1-0 win against Ravens FC, Santacruz in a Third Division match of the MDFA League 2018-19 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Monday.
In an evenly contested encounter, Oranje FC against the run of play scored through Rahul Unnithan in the 14th minute. Thereafter, they held on to their slender advantage till the final whistle to walk away with all the three points.
In another well-contested encounter, Millat FC who were twice in arrears, recovered to hold SVKM FC to an exciting 2-2 draw. Yashovardhan Chhokar (10th min) and Aaditya Rao (35th) were on target for SVKM, while Millat FC scored both their goals through Faiz Fodkar (23rd & 37th).
