Pride of place for Aryaa, Aryaman


Aryaa Ogale and Aryaman Adik have been the pride of place in the girls’ and boys’ under-19 singles events respectively in the Indian Squash Professional (ISP) organised Rs one lakh prize-money Otters Club – ISP Classic Squash tournament, which starts from Thursday at the Otters Club courts, Bandra. This is the 120th tournament to be conducted by ISP, from January 14 to 17, 2016.

Anannya Morey, who had defeated Aryaa in NSCI-ISP squash finals last month, is seeded second followed by the joint third-fourth seeds Sarah Vethekar and Aishwarya Khubchandani.

The second seed in the boys’ under-19 category is Ajit Sharma, while Veer Chotrani and Tushar Shahani are the joint third-fourth seeds.

Events are also being conducted for Mix (boys & girls) under-9, Boys’ under-11, under-13, under-15 and under-17 and Girls’ under-11 and under-13. There will also be events in the Professionals, Doubles Open and Doubles Handicap categories.
