Praneel Patel’s double strikes enabled Charkop FC overcome Vision Rescue 3-2 in a well-contested Second Division match of the MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Moday.
Leading from the front Praneel struck twice scoring in the 29th and 40th minutes while Pranay Bhandaei got the third goal in the 45th minute. Vision Rescue scored through Surya Naiker in the 21st minute and Austin D’Souza in the 56th minute.
In another match, IIT Bombay ‘B’ blanked Fuego Tormento FC 3-0. Striker Glainal Pullokaran scored two goals and Yashpal Tomar netted one to complete the margin of victory.
