22nd Late Ramanath Payyade Memorial Football
Mumbai: Tushar Poojary was in good scoring form and struck a fine hat-trick to power Satya Vijaya SC to a convincing 5-0 victory against Kanara Bros SC in a Third round league match of the 22nd Late Shri Ramanath Payyade Memorial Football Tournament 2017-18, organised by the Karnatak Sporting Association and played at the KSA ground, Cross Maidan.
Satya Vijaya’s star striker Poojary who led their charge was well-supported by teammates Nathan Michael and Rohan Salian, both scoring a goal each to complete the winning tally and ensure the team of qualification to the semi-final.
In the second match, Bombay Fort SC overcame a stiff challenge and earned hard fought victory over Shree Krishna SC romping to a 3-1 victory. Akhil Shetty, Nikhil Shetty and Sachin Bangera scored a goal each for the winners Bombay Fort, while Krutik Shettigar scored one goal for Shree Krishna.

Bombay Fort SC 3 (Akhil Shetty, Nikhil Shetty, Sachin Bangera) beat Shree Krishna SC 1 (Krutik Shettigar).
