PIFA Sports (Colaba) FC and Sporting Club Bacaim worked hard and managed to win their respective matches by identical 1-0 margins in the Women’s Premier Division of the Mumbai Football League 2023-2024 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Thursday.

The fancied PIFA Sports outfit faced quite a challenge from India Rush Soccer Club but managed to come out trumps by scoring a first half goal to clinch a 1-0 win and maintain their impressive winning streak.
PIFA Sports energetic striker Parvati Yadav was the star player as she scored the lone goal in the 34th minute to secure their win and collect all the three points.
In the second match, Sporting Club Bacaim did well to strike an early goal and defended stoutly to hand Young Guns FC a 1-0 defeat. Sporting Club’s enterprising striker Muriel Adams fired home the decisive winning goal in the 16th minute. After taking the advantage, Sporting Club managed to hand on to that lead till the final whistle to finish on a winning note.
