MDFA Div-I report:
PIFA Colaba Under-19 showed solid fighting spirit as they recovered from 0-2 down in the first half and scored twice in the second period to salvage a 2-2 draw with Rhino Sports Club in a First Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel.
Twain Fernandes scored the opening goal in the second minute before Sanket Bhagat added the second in the 35th minute to give Rhino a 2-0 lead at the end of first 40-minute first half.
However, after the change of ends, the Colaba youngsters made a strong reply with Omkar Shinde scoring their first goal in the 45th minute and Akash Sakpal scoring the equaliser in the 59th minute.
Results – Div-I: Rhino SC 2 (Twain Fernandes, Sanket Bhagat) drew with PIFA Colaba Under-19 2( Omkar Shinde, Akash Sakpal).
