In another tie, which too wet to the wire Kunal Patel got the better of Het Visaria 7-11, 12-10, 11-4, 8-11, 11-8 to join Parth in last eight.
Krisha Sanghavi, having made the cadet girls singles semifinals, was again to good form as she downed Anagha Walavatkar after trailing 0-2 to win her sub-junior girls singles tie 7-11, 11-7, 6-11, 11-7.
