Riding on Parthik Patil’s double strikes Veer Engineering blanked Mumbai Meghwal 4-0 in a Third Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 20-18-2019 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. Strikers Saurabh Jadhav and Ankush Kamble scored one each to round off the tally.
In the second match, Yeshua FC got the better of Vingnesh Naiker FC 3-1. Ronald Pinto, Sahil Deahmukh and Sula Parikshit were on target with a goal each for Yeshua FC while Edward Austin scored the lone goal for the losers.
